Declan's Playground Grand Opening at Harmon Park

On September 10, 2011, we were thrilled and honored to open Declan's first playground at Harmon Park in Kernersville. Declan's spirit soared that beautiful day and his spirit of play certainly lives on as we pass the playground each day and see the children of Kernersville enjoying it. If you would like to share in the day, we have posted video and pictures that capture the essence of the day.

Ivy M Redmon Sports Complex

​On October 2, 2012, the Kernersville Board of Alderman approved the playground plans for Declan's Playground at Beeson Park and they unanimously agreed to provide us with the $27K of the $75K budget needed to complete the project.
On April 5, 2013 the official grand opening of Declan's Second Playground at Ivy M Redmon Sports Complex in Kernersville.

Declan's Playground at
Marylene F Griffin Community Park

On April 9th, the Greensboro Parks and Rec Commission approved the proposal for Declan's third playground at the Marylene F. Griffin Community Park. This new park and rec is located off of Hilltop Road in Greensboro, right near the Adam's Farm Community.
The Grand Opening for Declan's 3rd Playground took place on Sunday, October 5th

On November 12, 2017, we officially opened Declan's fifth playground. Located at the baseball fields off Johnson Street in High Point. This new playground replaced a 19 year old playground refreshing the equipment and flow

Declan's Playground at
Lindley Park

On October 23, 2016, we officially opened Declan's fourth playground. Located off Starmount Road and Market Street in Lindley Park. This new playground was moved closed to the parking for increased accessibility.

Declan's Playground at
Deep River Park & Rec Center
​
On March 15th, we officially opened Declan's sixth playground. Located at the busy Deep River Rec Center off Skeet Club in High Point. This new playground replaced a 15 year old playground updating the equipment and moving it away from a flood prone area.

Due to COVID, our grand opening event was cancelled.
